The latest NPR/Marist generic ballot poll taken after the leaked Roe v. Wade decision now has Democrats LEADING Republicans 47% to 42%. This is a net increase of 8 points from last month's poll, which showed Republicans ahead 47% to 44%. This is a massive momentum shift!

I don’t have unrealistic expectations. I’ll stick with Cheney’s point about “inaction”: “Did Donald Trump, through action or inaction, corruptly seek to obstruct or impede Congress's official proceeding to count electoral votes?" And DOJ action before 2024 campaign is unlikely.
If you set your expectations for justice too high, you will always be disappointed. Donald isn’t going to be tried for treason. There likely won’t be a physical take down or an orange jumpsuit perp walk. But being realistic doesn’t sell, so I get it. 1/

St. Petersburg concertgoers yelling in unison “F..k the war” over and over. Perhaps Putin’s propaganda isn’t convincing everyone.
Питер. Концерт. Весь зал скандирует «Х** войне!» К слову о том, что все россияне поддерживают Путина. Это не так!

We should keep in mind that Trump used his pardon power as part of trying to overthrow our democracy. Pardoning Stone didn’t just reduce the chances of Stone telling investigators the truth, it kept Stone in a position where he could better help overturn the next election.

Stone has never been a playful “Dirty Trickster.”He has always been busy trying to steal elections. But working to reinforce Putin’s efforts in 2016, and then Trump’s coup to stop the legal transition of power earns him a different title that should follow him to his grave:

Back in 2019, Giuliani claimed he had an “insurance policy” to keep Trump from throwing him under the bus. 9 hours of testimony? Earlier, Giuliani jailed a lot of New York Mafia figures. You think he might be looking to avoid federal jail time? politico.com/news/2019/11/23…

It’s harder at night to see all the one-finger salutes Metro DC residents utilize to welcome these clowns.

It’s nearing midnight and I’m down around where the convoy is slated to meet. Apparently, the convoy defeated themselves this time around, as they haven’t even made it to the Beltway.

We need to do better at catching vulnerable young men before they act. What are they vulnerable to? The hate spewed by Tucker.
Tucker: They’re continuing to tell you that the mass murder you saw in Buffalo was inspired by hateful right wing rhetoric when in fact that mass murder was committed by someone with diagnosed mental illness

With all that has happened, I’ll bet Trump is still dreaming of building Trump Tower Moscow.

The first ever footage of what is claimed by the Ukrainian side to be UK-supplied Brimstone missiles in use against Russian forces in the East. Two tanks are struck in very rapid succession- it is said this is deep behind the front lines. 📽️t.me/truexanewsua/47250

Very interesting thread.
It is senseless to shelter Putin from the sense that he is losing. He will figure that out for himself, and he will act to protect himself. 1/17
