Canadian government will match every donation people make to the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal, up to $10 million. That's on top of $50 million in previously announced aid and $620 million in sovereign loans to Ukraine’s government.

Watson and I walked through a ton of poison ivy. Not what I expected to encounter in a public park. For those in #HamOnt be aware there's oodles of poison ivy throughout the grass and over the trail in the park to the west of Dundurn Castle. #dogsoftwitter #PoisonIvy

Despite having written an entire novel, I'm struggling to come up with one paragraph to sell it to an agent. My brain is paralyzed. I hate selling. I feel like I could write a whole other book before I could come up with this paragraph. #amwriting #WritingCommunity

For Jews who can become pregnant, access to abortion services is a religious *requirement*, and has been for thousands of years. Surprised? Let's dig into some of the texts 🧵 1/

I want your opinions. When you watch a movie or read a book, do you prefer to know who the villain is, or do you prefer to figure it out as the book or movie progresses, or do you want to be surprised at the end? #movies #books #amwriting

An example of how bail conditions can be useful: When a person breaches, police can make an arrest without waiting for the accused to commit a different crime. (The breach itself is a crime) BTW, if you breach your bail, your next bail hearing is reverse onus. #RollingThunder
An individual was arrested in the downtown area for breaching their release conditions which included not being in the downtown area of Ottawa. No further information is currently available. #Ottawa

Too bad so many got to just walk away last time. Would have been good to have them already subject to bail conditions. #Ottawa

When a jogger runs up behind me and my #gsd , especially when he gives us no space, the dog thinks the jogger is a threat. I'm sitting here with a bag of frozen peas on my forearm. (I'm fine - just venting here) #dogs

Oh my gosh, I found "the picnic list" shoved into the box of index cards for this project. Maybe I'm not as bad as I think. 🤔 .... yes, yes, I am that bad. It's chicken scratch with notes and arrows in the margins. #WritingCommunity
In need of my notes on something I consulted my notebook. In my own writing I see, "Notes are written on the back of the picnic list." What?! What "picnic list"? Where? Even my attempts to be organized are disorganized. 🫤 #writerslife #disorganized
