As a former union county and state employee, I am thankful to the constituents, neighbors and union members who share with me their hopes for contracts that feel meaningful and dignified. I am not at the negotiation table but am compelled to say that I hear you.

Arson fire last night at 3 AM at the North Loop homeless encampment in Minneapolis. Lots of accelerant was used. All the people involved had moved in after the Sheridan Park eviction. No one died. People opened their tents to the victims.

Thank you for your support and influence. I am a county employee in 2822. I have one child and am a single parent. I applied for energy assistance and was granted $300. We want to thrive, not just survive. It’s getting hard with the cost of living going up so much. Thank you!
