We’ve gone from ‘I didn’t realise I was walking into a party’ to ‘a Govt Special Advisor was the DJ at a party in the No 10 basement’. We’ve all been taken for a ride. Anyone who defends this deserves no role in public life - ever again.

If this was a tv drama we’d all turn it off as it would be utterly unbelievable

The defence line has always been “they’ve been working 18 hour days and deserved a reward for their efforts”. Well add 6 hours of partying and these poor chaps would have never slept. Explains all the wrong decisions they made.

Was any expenses claimed for supplies for these parties or items taken from the Downing Street fridge/cellar that are paid for by the tax payer.
