So for my 18th birthday all I ask for is a government that will act on the climate crisis, and commit to genuine emissions reduction (43% won’t cut it). A government that isn’t captive to the interests of fossil fuel donors and willing to back 114 new fossil fuel projects.

Today’s my 18th birthday. Since around 15 I’ve been dedicated to advocacy on climate change and I’ve used every avenue available to me to demand greater action. At 16 I launched a court case against the government. At 17 I led 25,000 people through Melbourne CBD.
