What I cannot forgive, however, is a system built with the thought and purpose of oppressing people whose only crime was crossing the ocean. Remaining silent in the face of that system is itself a form of oppression.
When Mehdi was a 15-year-old boy, he was placed in detention for nine years. Now a free man, Mehdi says he can’t forgive the system that imprisoned him.

This is just one of the horrific stories I have heard since my tweets yesterday. It is time that the airline industry changed to treat people with disabilities far more appropriately.
I have a brain injury.
To lessen the noise on a flight I used noise reducing headphones.
I explained to the hostess that I could clearly hear and understand her message.
My qantas flight was turned around and I was taken off the plane because I was being disruptive.
