Methodolatry. You’re describing methodolatry, or the obscene worship of the randomized clinical trial as the only valid method of clinical investigation.
Shouting “randomized trials” is grade-school evidence based medicine. If you can’t make decisions based on data from natural experiments, quasi-experimental trials, and well-designed observational studies, you should just sit the pandemic out. 850,000 deaths is serious business

That one about "zero randomized trials of masking in wealthy nations" is a beaut, too. He *knows* that there have been randomized trials of masking in more impoverished nations that showed that masking works to slow the spread of #COVID19. He's moving the goalposts.
