Choosing to increase the police presence instead of decreasing poverty is just setting a ticking time bomb for the next explosion of race-class tensions in the streets. It’s just a question of who will be the next George Floyd or Breonna Taylor.

The constant increased spending on police is not about keeping communities safe, it’s about preparing for war against us whenever we protest for equality and democracy. That’s literally why they started increasing federal funds to the police. It’s documented history.

Wellness would be forgiving student loan debt and making healthcare for all. That would bring stress levels way down immediately.

For 74 years Palestinians have spoke of the horrors of the Nakba,& the world has covered its ears, only waking up when the Israeli soldiers who committed the massacres speak up. Will it take another 70 years to wake up to the crimes being committed today infront of our very eyes?

In 1948, Israel expelled Palestinians from Ein Karem and gave their houses to Israeli Jews. This photo from 1950 shows Israeli "artists" painting the village and its landscape while its rightful inhabitants suffered in refugee camps. The photo, of course, is from JNF Archive.
In a recent interview, Mahmoud Salhiye said "Give me back Ein Karem (from which his family was expelled in 1948), & I wouldn't want Sheikh Jarrah." The Nakba wasn't a moment but a process. Those responsible continue their impunity because they know they face no consequences

White people literally have bills and laws that protect their feelings.
A Florida bill that would prohibit public schools and private businesses from making white people feel “discomfort” when they teach students or train employees about discrimination in the nation’s past received its first approval Tuesday. apne.ws/3a6xyCh
