After four years of Trump and American retreat, the free world looked for leadership in the face of Russian aggression. They saw @POTUS who told the world America is back and stands with all peace-loving and freedom seeking peoples around the world. Thank you, Mr. President.

Does Bernie have a primary in Vermont he’s worried about?
Bernie Sanders spoke to DNC chairman Jaime Harrison yesterday. He sent a letter asking DNC to come out against super PACs in primaries. He declined to say what the conversation was like, leaving that to Harrison, other than to say: "Don't hold your breath"

I’m shocked! Shocked! To find Donald Trump subverting the democratic process.
The Senate race in PA hasn’t been called yet but Trump on Truth Social is calling for Dr. Oz to go ahead and declare —

I believe there are good people on the other side who, while we may disagree on policy matters, aren't intentionally trying to destroy our nation. I wish more of them would stand up and speak out against the maniacs who have taken control of their party.

On CNN, @RonBrownstein notes that in PA, OH, and NC, suburban counties have declined as a share of the GOP primary vote. “The Trump direction for the party is self-perpetuating, because the kind of voters who are the most resistant to it are becoming less likely to participate.”

Stop calling Doug Mastriano an "election denialist." Let's be clearer: He's an insurrectionist who's running to use the office to ensure that a Dem presidential candidate never wins his state as long as he's governor. Key to this is Christian nationalism: washingtonpost.com/opinions/…

Wait. You’re the asshole, but it’s Twitter’s fault?
Replying to @BretWeinstein
To those who simply assumed the worst about me (that my tweet was born of callousness rather than ignorance), I’d ask you to consider what this device, this platform, this era is doing to you and to us. Savaging people must not become sport.

162 years ago today the Republican Party put forth Abraham Lincoln as their choice to command the Presidency. This stands in stark contrast to the party of today, who nominate frauds, liars, and criminals.

I'm done. I no longer believe the Republican Party can be saved. The vitriolic rhetoric is inspiring violent radicals. I'm quitting the GOP. And I hope more do the same.

Madison Cawthorn trails by 11 points among early voters in the NC-11 primary, with nearly all counties reporting their early vote. Election Day votes, of course, may differ.

I love this scene from Ted Lasso so much. I think I’ve watched this scene everyday since I first saw it weeks ago. Jason Sudeikis is tremendous in this TV show.
