nature has actually contacted me for comment about accusations that Sci-Hub is a threat, here is my full response / it is clear that academic publishers care about their money, not about security of other people

Some young people somewhere, empowered by Sci-Hub, will make awesome discoveries that will make the world a better place. This is much more important than the financial interests of the greedy academic publishers.

It's not just some young people somewhere. It's millions of people everywhere! Your own doctor might look up new research on a disease you have and be able to treat it better.
