Dr. @AbdulElSayed breaks down our multi-tiered system of health insurance, which fails to provide coverage for millions and which provides substandard coverage for millions more.
#SinglePayer#MedicareForAll
I'm in KY and can't tell you just how disappointing it was to see Booker go from unapologetic progressive firebrand shouting for #MedicareForAll from the rooftops when he ran against (and almost beat!) McGrath in 2020 to the mealy-mouthed milquetoast moderate he is now.
They can. . .since politicians neglected to raise the minimum wage to a living wage.
If we had #MedicareForAll, we could also take that bargaining chip off the table too. . .but instead we have the greatest manufactured economic inequality because of Donor class influence.
Why is Covid not under control in USA?
Underfunding:
primary care & long-term care
community & public health
health equity & SDoH
healthcare workers
Exploitative:
insurers
pharma
hospitals
politicians
Healthcare is a Human Right.

Like Bernie, he won't even say #MedicareForAll anymore, now he talks about "affordable healthcare."
His current campaign couldn't be less inspiring and there's zero chance that he'll actually beat Rand Paul now that idiot Dem consultants are (obviously) in his ear.
Senator Bernie Sanders is Fighting to get us #MedicareForAll instead of privatizing our life-long #Medicare payroll contributions. I’m not into privatizing America like Clinton, Trump, Biden is doing as we tweet.
Nearly 27 million Americans lost their employer-based healthcare coverage *because of* the pandemic. This is an outrage. It is long past time we passed Medicare for All.
