This is pretty interesting. Was listening to a podcast w/ 2 conservative guests, and they said the death rates are pretty even between red and blue states I thought "no way" But it actually looks like that might be true statista.com/statistics/1109…

I would guess the difference is in the time (a year ago vs. now) as well as demographics affected (people dying now are younger)

A year ago, there was no vaccine and no Delta, and the virus would ravaging the NE of the United States. Now, Delta kills more younger people and the NE is more vaccinated, so the casualties are more in the south, and younger, I imagine
