Space tourists to the top of the sky should not be referred to as "astronauts" imho. It's highly disrespectful to real astronauts.

Shut it all down. Twitter’s done for the evening. 🤣🤣🤣
It is a feat of epic proportions to speak for four hours straight and not produce a single memorable phrase, original insight or even a joke. McCarthy thinks he is a wit but so far he has proved he is only half right.

Correct!
Republicans’ chief argument against censuring Gosar seems to be: “Where does this end?” Simple. It ends when members stop posting violent memes and breaching basic norms of decency towards other members. Uphold a principle and it will stop happening.

Though this seems to imply acknowledgement that some recent prior election was not “fair,” so those voters get more entrenched in the idea that some US elections *aren’t* fair.
Replying to @jbouie
the reason this matters is that one force driving republican antipathy to electoral democracy is a belief that the party cannot win a fair fight. but that's obviously false!

TFG lead the insurrection. FBI downplayed every warning. But no security force wanted to be seen as possibly abridging conservative white peoples constitutional rights. So they did everything the *opposite* of securing the U.S. Capitol. MAGA troops were ready.
🚨🚨NEWWWW from this huge @washingtonpost probe: FBI concluded there was no “threat to life” when they were warned that pro Trump extremists were urging each other to bring guns Jan 6 and be prepared to “drop”police wapo.st/beforeattack

Does anyone else feel like maybe Garland doesn’t think democracy is worth protecting as much as someone in his position could?
DC's top federal judge said DOJ has tied judges' hands with soft plea deals for 1/6 rioters, essentially blocking stiff punishments that would deter future attacks. She said DOJ approach is "puzzling," "muddled," "schizophrenic," "baffling," and "peculiar" cnn.com/2021/10/28/politics/…

The enemies of American democracy will not wait until 2024. They need to capitalize on Jan. 6 momentum. This video is part of a vast psychological warfare operation to create a sense of emergency and gain acceptance for a future authoritarian action, whatever form it takes.

This is good. Real good.
No expulsion required. A14.3 disqualifies them. The final sentence is an exclusionary clause - a vote of 2/23rds required to KEEP them. None of this was honored. They sit, 147 of them, unconstitutionally.

This is how TFG rolled his whole life. Use, abuse, discard, keep the money.
As the stock for Trump's second public company soars, read @drewharwell's story on Trump's first public company: a casino venture that went bankrupt 3X. The only one who made out was Trump, who got $44M even as small-time investors lost their shirts. washingtonpost.com/business/…
